Basically, I got a shit treatment from the client; the asshole tried to exploit me, trying to get me to agree to be paid by page rather than word as was originally agreed and I, wanting to be FAIR even if it meant getting less money stuck to my guns. And what does he do?

Go behind my back when I'm more than halfway done, and give the job to someone else, who likely gave him a better price. Then he sends me a letter of dismissal, citing 'poor vocabulary' and 'not making it interesting' as the reasons I'm being thrown away.

BECAUSE OF THE FUCKING DRAFT PAGES HE LOOKED AT.

So the deal's off. I'm just going to hound him for a minimal compensation price and then tell him to go stick his dumb autobiography up his conceited ass.
